Sergey Brin admitted to mistakes with Google Glass. Over a decade later, is the world ready for Google’s next face-worn gadget?

Android XR is still in the early stages, but I got to try a prototype pair at Google I/O: Promising hardware and it should benefit from changing attitudes about smart glasses.

It spent quite some time during its keynote laying out its vision for what smart glasses might be able to do via its Android XR smart glasses platform and supporting hardware made with Xreal. The possibilities are enticing.
