Google has announced a new AI tool called Whisk that lets you generate images using other images as prompts instead of requiring a long text prompt.

Google has yet another AI tool to add to the pile. Whisk is a Google Labs image generator that lets you use an existing image as your prompt. But its output only captures your starter image’s “essence” rather than recreating it with new details.

Google Whisk extracts only a few key characteristics from your image, it might generate images that differ from your expectations.

Veo 2 is the successor to an eponymous AI video generator that Google debuted in May. Compared to its predecessor, the new model produces more realistic and detailed clips with up to 4K resolution, which corresponds to 3840 pixels by 2160 pixels. Google says that Veo 2 is also less prone to hallucinations.
