The Utah Hockey Club continue to hang around the playoff picture in the Western Conference, and the front office is not looking to sell.

Lawson Crouse has been waiting for a moment like this. To show up for his team in a critical game. To produce on the scoresheet instead of the underlying numbers. To feel like a goalscorer again. It is something he focused on over the recent gap in the NHL schedule.

With 7:48 left Crouse scored on a quick backhander to lift Utah to a 2-1 win over the Chicago Blackhawks at the Delta Center.

"When we rolled into Utah, we kind of said, 'We want to be in a position down the stretch where we're playing meaningful games," Utah general manager Bill Armstrong said prior to a 5-3 loss at the Los Angeles Kings on Saturday.
