SAN ANTONIO — Check you numbers San Antonio. One lucky person won $1 million on a Powerball ticket that was purchased at a gas station on the north side of the city, according to the Texas Lottery website.

A Powerball ticket sold in Texas won $1 million, but just missed the $20 million jackpot, lottery officials say. The tickets matched five winning numbers, but not the Powerball, in the drawing Monday, Jan. 20, the national Powerball site said.

A Round Rock resident narrowly missed the $1.22 billion jackpot, matching all five white ball numbers, and missing the Mega Ball number by one digit. The player's pick was 5 and the winning number was 6.
