Southwest Airlines is continuing its Milwaukee expansion. Only a week after announcing two new daily flights between Milwaukee and Chicago-Midway, Southwest said it's adding nonstop flights at Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport to three U.S. cities: San Diego, Austin and Miami.

Southwest Airlines, primarily a domestic airline throughout its over 50-year history, is looking at expanding to overseas markets, a further sign of that the once-distinctive Texas airline is following the path of rival carriers.
