Force Majeure on South Sudan Oil Exports Lifted
Sudan lifts force majeure on oil to Port Sudan
Sudan has lifted a near one year force majeure on the transportation of crude oil from its neighbour South Sudan to a port on the Red Sea after security conditions improved, according to a letter seen by Reuters on Monday.

The lifting of force majeure will allow South Sudan to resume pumping as much as 150,000 barrels a day of crude oil to an export terminal on Port Sudan. The bulk of the crude is exported to refiners in China and Malaysia. South Sudan's petroleum ministry couldn't be reached for an immediate comment.
