West 7th Street has reopened to reduced traffic after an "unexpected," 35-foot-deep sinkhole emerged in the street. The busy street was closed Friday between Grand Avenue and Kellogg Boulevard after the sinkhole appeared outside Burger Moe's on Thursday, but has since reopened to traffic, albeit only a single lane in each direction.

The stretch of West Seventh from Kellogg Boulevard to Grand Avenue will be open for local business access only.
