Firefighters in the San Fernando Valley are responding to a brush fire in Sylmar as crews in Pacific Palisades and Altadena battle other brush fires that have triggered evacuation orders in their respective areas.

With the Los Angeles area already reeling from two wildfires, a third broke out Tuesday night in the north end of the Valley.

A nearly 600-unit apartment portfolio in Los Angeles’ San Fernando Valley has traded hands in one of the region’s largest multifamily deals over the past year in terms of number of units.

The Woodland Hills home, with a koi pond and hillside gym, is being sold by agent Rick Greenstein, whose clients include Jamie Foxx and John Oliver.
