HOUSTON (AP) — Wyatt Langford homered with a career-high tying four hits and Adolis García added a solo shot to lead the Texas Rangers to a 7-3 win over the Houston Astros on Friday night.

Leiter, the Rangers’ rookie right-hander, held the Astros hitless into the seventh inning at Globe Life Field in May. His first batter Friday dashed any hope of a repeat. Isaac Paredes bounced a leadoff single up the middle to begin the bottom of the first. A walk and two groundouts produced Houston’s first run.

Since returning from the IL in June, Lance McCullers Jr. hasn't pitched particularly well. Even in his start against the Dodgers, it took a few innings before he settled into a groove. Ironically, he walked a total of 12 hitters (four in each game) in his last three starts before this one against the Rangers on Friday evening.
