State Sen. Randy Fine introduced a bill Monday to outlaw government entities from flying flags that represent a partisan, racial, or political viewpoint — legislation that died last year after receiving pushback from Democrats.

The Republican senator said taxpayer dollars shouldn't be used to promote political speech in places like public schools and universities.
