Much of Texarkana without power after winter storms
Bowie County including Texarkana were both hit particularly hard by winter storms that passed through East Texas last night. More than 16,000 people were reportedly without power in Texarkana, that’s more than half of the power outages reported throughout all of East Texas this morning.
The Oncor website notes that out of more than 4 million customers they serve, there are 56 outages affecting 880 customers.
