Perplexity is introducing a new voice assistant. CEO Aravind Srinivas tweeted that you can use the assistant to answer questions and have it begin tasks like writing emails, playing music or shows, and setting alerts.

Perplexity AI's new Voice Assistant is trying to beat Siri at its own game. While it can't replace Siri, it's able to create calendar appointments, add reminders, and have a conversation with you. It can even look things up online and answer questions that Siri just can't handle.

Using the app's new voice assistant, you can ask it to play music, access your calendar, send an email, get directions, and more.
