The first show of the long-awaited comeback tour kicks off tonight in Wales. The road to this year's reunion tour has been a long and bumpy one, and despite ticketing issues, fans are more excited than ever to see the return of Britpop royalty.

Noel took his turn on lead vocals for several songs, including the touching “Half the World Away,” and the show ended with encores featuring some of Oasis' most enduring tracks: “Don't Look Back in Anger,” “Wonderwall” and “Champagne Supernova.”

British rock band Oasis reunited in Cardiff on Friday as the Gallagher brothers put more than 16 years of acrimony behind them to deliver a hit-paced set that took thousands of fans back to the optimism and swagger of the 1990s.
