Nebraska fans react to victory over Wisconsin in the NCAA Tournament
The Nebraska Cornhuskers are headed to the NCAA Semifinals after a 3-0 sweep (26-24, 25-17, 25-21) over the Wisconsin Badgers. The Huskers will now play in the semis for the second straight year and the seventh time in the past ten seasons.
Two of those three league losses came at the hands of Nebraska, who did not drop a set in the series through three matches.
“This is what ABC wanted. This is what everybody wanted,” Nebraska coach John Cook said about 24 hours before Sunday’s 2 p.m.
