A procession was held for Deputy Sheriff Jesus Jesse Vargas who was killed by a suspect while attempting to serve a warrant against a repeat violent offender for aggravated assault.

Brazoria County deputy Jesus Jesse Vargas was shot and killed in Houston on Wednesday. A manhunt is underway for the suspect.

A manhunt ended in Texas when a Houston man accused of shooting and killing a deputy serving a warrant on him in the parking lot of a Dollar Tree, was fatally shot by police.
