By all indications, Elon Musk has been leading DOGE and the Trump administration’s mission to shrink the size of the federal government and cut allegedly wasteful or fraudulent spending.

The White House says billionaire Elon Musk is not the administrator of the Department of Government Efficiency team sweeping through federal agencies, but rather a senior adviser to President Donald Trump.

Twenty-one federal tech employees resigned instead of helping DOGE, saying they will not use their skills to "dismantle critical public services."
