Sen. Elizabeth Warren is pressing the Trump transition team for answers as it relates to DOGE leader Elon Musk and the ethical standards that he is being held to.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Massachusetts) wrote a letter to President-elect Donald Trump on Monday to request clear and transparent conflict-of-interest rules that would bind Elon Musk, the world’s richest man, during his role as a top Trump adviser.

Progressive Senator Elizabeth Warren challenged Donald Trump to set ethics guardrails to control a “massive conflict of interest” posed by Elon Musk’s unofficial role in the president-elect’s transition and incoming administration.

Letting Musk do government work without clear conflict of interest rules “is an invitation for corruption on a scale not seen in our lifetimes,” Warren argued.
