Tottenham Hotspur are considering battling Arsenal in the race to sign Crystal Palace forward Eberechi Eze, a source has told ESPN.

Eberechi Eze may have to wait until after Crystal Palace play their Europa Conference League play-off match at the end of the month before any potential deal for him is agreed. There has been no firm offer from Tottenham Hotspur for Eze despite reports of interest in the England international.

Tottenham opened talks with Crystal Palace over a deal for Eze on Tuesday, with Frank keen to bolster his attacking ranks following injuries to James Maddison and Dejan Kulusevski. Frank, speaking to the media in Italy, wouldn't comment on the 27-year-old's future as his side prepares for the Uefa Super Cup final against PSG.
