3.5-magnitude earthquake shakes Rialto, Fontana
A magnitude 3.5 earthquake struck Rialto late Tuesday afternoon, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor, at 4:54 p.m., hit some 3.7 miles north-northwest of a spot in Rialto and about 4 miles north-northeast of one in Fontana. The depth was recorded at around 4 miles, the USGS reported.

An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.3 struck about 5 miles from Fontana around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday and was felt around Southern California. Some people likely received an early warning from the U.S. Geological Survey’s system. People reported feeling light shaking in Koreatown and Pasadena. Noticeable aftershocks were reported in Riverside.
