Milwaukee Bucks teammates Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard will be on opposing ends of the court during the 2025 NBA All-Star Game in San Francisco on Sunday, Feb. 16, as the pair were drafted onto different teams on Thursday night.

The Milwaukee Bucks will be without star duo Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard on Monday night against the Thunder.

Going into the day, Lillard was ruled questionable for the Thunder game with left groin soreness. Now, he has officially been ruled out by the Bucks.

SAN ANTONIO -- Damian Lillard fell short of being voted into the All-Star Game but will be part of the NBA's annual showcase for the second straight season as a member of the Milwaukee Bucks after he was selected as a reserve by the coaches Thursday evening.

The shock of the trade caught the attention of superstars around the league, including one of the biggest in Giannis Antetokounmpo. After the trade, the Bucks superstar claimed that he wanted to see more European players in large markets.

NBA analyst and former teammate Demarcus Cousin believes that Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo could leave the team if things don't work out.
