The Dallas Cowboys are a certified holiday team for the NFL as they're one of two teams in the league that's a guaranteed a spot on the Thanksgiving slate of games on a yearly basis. Now, they're taking it to the next level by getting a Christmas Day game.

This marks the NFL’s latest expansion of holiday programming after its Thanksgiving Day tripleheader was also confirmed. That lineup opens with the Green Bay Packers visiting the Lions, followed by the Chiefs at the Cowboys, and wraps with a divisional battle between the Cincinnati Bengals and Baltimore Ravens.
