Last night’s Oscars made history with the film No Other Land winning Best Documentary Feature, marking the first-ever Academy Award for a Palestinian filmmaker, co-directors Basel Adra and Hamdan Ballal.

Basel Adra and Yuval Abraham, accepting the award for documentary feature film, called for a political solution to the conflict.
