Having spent parts of the 2019-21 seasons together on the Houston Astros, Alex Bregman is uniquely qualified to talk about what Abraham Toro brings to the Red Sox.

Red Sox manager Alex Cora attributes Bregman's early-season success to the training he did in the offseason. “He [Bregman] worked hard in the offseason,” Cora told Christopher Smith of MassLive. “He felt like last year he was off, especially early in the season, swinging more. Swinging at the edges of the strike zone.”
