Lafayette Police said there were no injuries and no shots fired after the Acadiana Mall was evacuated Thursday evening because of reports of a person possibly armed with a gun.

A security guard at Acadiana Mall who was fired in December was arrested for terrorizing and trespassing Thursday after he reportedly returned to the mall carrying a firearm.

Law enforcement responded to reports of potential shots fired and an individual with a firearm at Acadiana Mall. Here are result of investigation.
