Very nice small museum. A must for WWII buffs....especially young teenagers. (My 14 year old said he likes that there were two half-tracks....whatever that means.) I also liked that it was pay by don…Full review by cooms2014

A great variety of vehicles. Well kept friendly and informed staff. Great for older kids. My 5 year was a little disappointed as he wasn’t allowed to touch any of the vehicles.Full review by Lau7776
Is there actually an admission fee for the museum, or is it a suggested donation like some museums in the city?
A:
The website says $12 for admission but we were never asked for money when we got there. We just walked in and started looking around. So not really sure.

The hours are actually Wednesday through Sunday 10 am to 4 pm. I also know they have special event weekends but you need to either Facebook friend them or monitor their web site. The phone is 516 454-tank but because they are an all volunteer organization I had to call twice to get a real person to pick up so don't lose patience. My family found it to be worth it.

I believe technically they ask everyone for a donation that matches the entry donation to the Old Bethpage Village Restoration since the armor museum is inside the grounds of the village. It gets you admission to both places but you need to ask for a receipt at the armor museum so the village knows you paid. They also have a half track ride on warm weekends and the armor museum asks for donation to climb aboard. Not sure of the number but I think it is $25.
