Wonderful waves crashing on Long Beach, taking in sights, sounds and the smell of the ocean air. The sand beneath your feet changing colour with each step, then being slowly erased by a wave, washin…Full review by tdsuperstar

Long Beach is simply magical. We arrived early in the day when the sea mist was still swirling up the beach. It was truly awe inspiring. The beach, located between Ucluelet & Tofino, is about 10 mi…Full review by JacquelineR197

If you are landing in Victoria, Spending a day or two there is a good idea. The city is beautiful and there is so much to do. I would them head up to the Parksville /Qualicum area( 2 hours drive) Beautiful seaside towns, slower pace. Beautiful beaches/rivers ( Englishman River Park, Qualicum Falls, Rathtrevor Beach) I night would be good. Qualicum is a pretty little town. Full of Artisans. A nice place to spend an afternoon. From Parksville you can take the highway that cuts across the island heading towards Tofino. There are beautiful stops along the way ( Cathedral Grove, and other roadside viewpoints) so this trip can easily take 4 hours to Tofino. So plan extra time and perhaps stop for lunch along the way. There is much to do in Tofino, Farmers markets on Saturdays are really nice. Go check out the hot springs ( day trip well worth the $) Long Beach is gorgeous and a beautiful day trip of watching surfers/picnic-ing/relaxing beach walks. I would plan at least 3-4 days there minimum. Take one afternoon and explore Ucluelet. Campbell River & Port Hardy are not enroute, so should be planned separately. Port Alberni is a small town, I've never found it that interesting, but Stamp Falls and Sprout lake nearby are beautiful.
