Fantastic museum, really informative. Limited on translations to English but generally really good to see! Lots of stairs, so may struggle if you’re disabled but again, all this is to be expected. Full review by Jodie C

Great to be able to see bridge and read about history. Short walk from town and a nice easy stroll along the river. Watch timings to visit museum, but we'll worth a visit Full review by CheetOwls

At the Peace Bridge, do you recall if there were cafes within walking distance where lunch is served? I have a group of forty headed there in the spring.. trying to determine if everyone can be turned loose to enjoy the village and grab lunch on their own, or if a group reservation is advised in a local restaurant. thanks!

Yes, there are several restaurants on the river with excellent terraces (assuming the weather is good) about a 5-10 minute (flat) walk along the river promenade. Several of those …

Yes, there are several restaurants on the river with excellent terraces (assuming the weather is good) about a 5-10 minute (flat) walk along the river promenade. Several of those with seating outside should be able to accomodate a large group. We were pleasantly surprised by our meal at Da Franco (reviewed on TripAdvisor) - the food was quite good and reasonable. There are other cafes in town (up an incline from the riverfront and museum) but I can say that we very much enjoyed sitting outside facing the river.
