Quintal is a commune in the Haute-Savoie department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in south-eastern France. On the south-south-east side of the commune sits the Semnoz mountain. The village is on the border between the Arrondissement of Annecy and the Albanais, which it was historically a part of. It borders the communes of Sevrier, Saint-Jorioz, Viuz-la-Chiésaz and Seynod.
