It's a very steep walk up to the tower from the town centre, but it's visible from the port area and lit up at night. The impression is of a roman amphitheatre but it's a folly built by McCaig afford…Full review by SolihullRichard

Kind of underwhelming. But got some good exercise walking up to it. We didn’t know what the tower’s story was and still had to google the info when we got up there. View was ok… maybe on a clear day …Full review by LynniePinz

Decided to make a visit to see the round tower and was not disappointed. Over 100 steps to climb but we took our time and the steps were wide so was fine for passing also there was benches for a brea…Full review by Beverley P
