PROVINCIAL PARK: Garibaldi is a PROVINCIAL PARK - NOT a STATE Park. It is located in CANADA therefore it is a PROVINCIAL Park. We do NOT have ‘STATES’ in CANADA Trip advisor got this wrong!!! Full review by turtle39

The view from the top is worth the 3 hour walk. It doesn't seem real, like something from a Bob Ross painting. Crystal blue water from the glaciers and small mammals, what more do you need.Full review by F3061PVkarlp

Hi, was there in January for backcountry skiing. From the Squamish access road there was no fee for parking and altought we did encounter some park rangers on our way up to Red Heather shelter there was nobody at the small hut at the trail head to greed us !!! Mind me this was at winter time, could be different summer time !!! We did have fee, paid online prior to our stay, for staying at the Elfin lake shelter. Have a great Stay. Martin
