We are closed January for renovations. Re-open February 1st Ben Owen III is a potter from Seagrove, North Carolina. His forefathers came to NC from England as early as the late 1700s to farm and ply their pottery craft while furnishing storage jars and other utilitarian wares to early settlers. Through influences from his grandfather, Ben Owen Sr., studies at East Carolina University School of Art, and a fellowship in Japan, young Ben was trained to have an eye for form, design, and color in clay that continues the tradition and growth at Ben Owen Pottery. Come visit the retail gallery/museum, the working clay studio, and wood fired kilns.

It's like an interactive museum where you can buy art! Warm, attractive and inviting. Worth a visit each time we go to Seagrove. His red glaze always inspires! Full review by Wanda C
