The bat is quite scenic and worth a nice boat ride to rake it all in. A number of villages are all around as well as churches along side in the surrounding mountains.Full review by TAMAN1951

We stayed in Kotor for one whole month, and we count ourselves very fortunate to have this privilege. In spite of its downsides (traffic congestion, too many tourists, high prices), it was generally…Full review by MichaelTSingapore

This is spectacular geography. We were lucky to see it from our cruise ship as we sailed away on a sunny day. Another good observation point is up on the hills surrounding the Bay, and you can hire…Full review by Thomas V
Hi Can anyone confirm the date for Boka Night please? I think it's in July or August? And also, is it the same date every year? Thanks
A:
Boka night happens on the 3rd Saturday of August. It will be 20th August in 2020. Enjoy if you are planning your visit around this event but it is well attended so expect crowds.
Dear Martin and dear community. Im looking for advice regarding potential July 2020 stay in Prcanj, bay of Kotor. It will be our first visit to the country and reviews we saw look great so far. We are the family of 4 with 2 kids ( 6 and 8 yo). We found nice apartments but we see on the map that there is only one road along a bay in Prcanj (Andriatic trakt) and there is no area for pedestrians over there. How intense is traffic over there and how safe is it to go for a walk along that road with kids? Apartments are on this road and just on the border of Prcanj and Stoliv and we like to walk so I would imagine walking to both directions..... Many thanks in advance... PS also do you know if water in the sea is clean enought ( bay seems to be too narrow)..

Hi, we actually stayed in the Iberostar Bellevue Hotel near Budva on an all inclusive basis & this was our first time for doing this so not sure how it was going to work out, but it was excellent, particularly for kids. The water at the beach nearest there (Becici Beach) was really clean & warm even though we stayed there in October. Full review of hotel (on Trip Advisor naturally) if you'd like to check it out with the heading 'Absolutely Excellent' posted on our return in October. It's a fabulous country so enjoy it wherever you decide to stay.
I will be visiting koror fir one day. Are there tours available to book on the day ?

We booked in advance on a group tour only to find they just changed on the day to suit cruise people. They said its good that we weren't on a cruise because at least we could go later. Ruined our day quite frankly so you may want to wing it. Honestly the cruise people ruin the town, speaking to the locals it's awful how everything has to revolve around them. We found as normal tourists staying in an apartment near by that you really can't plan in advance unless it's a private tour of course. Also beware of the traffic congestion caused by the volume of cruise people all arriving at the same time. If you need to get a taxi to meet up with a scheduled trip, allow extra time. As mentioned by other travellers there are plenty of tour operators offering trips near the information kiosk, mainly boat trips. There are also ad hoc trips available from Perast. I would hate for other people to experience what we did, book in advance and be let down.
I will be visiting koror fir one day only. Will I be able to book a speed boat tour on the day? If so where will I find this? Thank you

There are plenty of boats doing tours from the town to the Blue Cave etc. If you walk along the port you will see many boat tour operators. Some only take 3-4 people some 10. There all small operators. I’m sure you could book if you searched Blue Cave tours from Kotor.
